Why do many Trump fans believe Biden will never take the oath?

I am really perplexed why so many Trump supporters truly believe that Trump will declare martial law during his waning hours and that Joe Biden will be prevented from taking his oath.

I just don't get their anger, which to me, is simplistic and misplaced. Trump lost and in true juvenile fashion has no rational response to losing in front of the world.

I didn't like it when Hillary lost. But I didn't call for an overthrow of the government, despite believing in voter suppression. One thing about voting by mail, punk anti-Democracy folks cannot stop anyone they want from voting.
 
Because they are Qdumbasses and believe anything they are told. A few days ago they believed that pope and Nancy were arrested and the Nancy that spoke at impeachment was a double.
 
Because their minds have been scrambled with bullshit. Any outlet that doesn't agree with them is fake. Even outlets that play Trump's own words are fake if those words disagree with their personal view of him.

Same reason they are lost in the weeds: they don't understand the constitution, the laws, and how things work. Which is why they fall for all the manipulation and lies Trump throws out, as well as all the conspiracy theories that other's throw around.

The "military coup" option is what they WANT to happen.

Joe should make a deal with Mitch, get your party in line with the fake news BS and he will nominate qualified conservative judges.
 
At 12:01 on January 20, 2021 Trump is no longer president, Pence is no longer VP.

If somehow they did manage to prevent Biden from taking the oath, the succession of powers kicks in, and as third in line Nancy Pelosi becomes president.

That’s also the scary part to me. They lost an election, then out of literally nothing fabricated an entire conspiracy against themselves and then decided a military coup to reverse their loss was justified, based on the conspiracy theory. This is simply not a group of people prepared or interested in participating in democracy.

I mean it is a true statement. At that time and date Trump and Pence will no longer be President and VP. The same will be true at 12:01 on January 22, 2021, and with just a little luck that will be true on 12:01 every day after until the end of time.
