Why do Korean restaurants treat their customers like cattle?

I've eaten in several Korean places and never had that happen. I've always had good service, including this weekend. As others have said, it was more likely poor management than anything else. Also, you could have declined to move. Walking out without paying for such a reason is pretty lame, and that *is* stealing.
 
Happened to me once at a chinese place. We were sitting down at a four seater (wife and I) and they told another couple to sit with us. Really annoying, never went back. Personal space transgression FTL
