why do I suck at solitaire

I started playing solitaire on my pocketpc the other day and now I'm addicted...but... I suck at it. why? is there some trick to playing I don't know? I always get stuck eventually, but I thought it was designed so that you can't get stuck.

you can't win every solitaire game. i heard (IIRC) only 1/32 solitaire games are winnable

Plus there will be some games you lose. That's the way it is for me anyway.

play one card instead of 3. much easier.

if you still suck at one hand, find a new game.



besides, freecell > solitare

Yeah, you can't win every game, it's the luck of the draw, Freecell on the other hand is way more fun 🙂

Freecell is better, and a lot tougher to get good at, but once you are good it's fairly easy... I was on a ~2200 game winning streak and then I did a reformat and haven't played it much since. 😀

Try to get to flipped cards behind the up turned cards.
Only use the cards in the 3 take pile if they help you remove the cards behind the upturned.
Also try not to unevenly pile up the Ace piles and dont go to high too early.

Sorry I dont know the technical terms.

Also if you just wanna win only play the cards you were first dealt on the downturn pile and if you can get many of the down turned cards up then reshuffle.

Thats why you play freecell. I am sure you can win everygame there. ITs all skill, no luck.

Actually, you can't win every freecell game. There are a very few that are impossible.

There's one in the regular rotation that I can't remember that is unwinnable... also, try playing game # -1 (yes, negative 1).

PocketPC solitare is rigged. I play vegas style, -$5k+. I win more often my desktop.😱
