Celebrity culture is beyond pathetic. I have probably heard her music but I don't give a fuck about celebrities. I'll more than likely forget her name within the hour. I reserve my brain capacity for stuff that matters.

I think she's only had 1 or 2 songs really cross over to mainstream. So you may or may not have heard of her. She's mostly country music. Does New Zealand get our country music?

Uhh, I wouldn't know to be honest, I don't listen to a lot of radio, but I doubt it. Steve Earle was pretty huge when Copperhead Road came out, if that counts.

Interesting. Where do you normally listen to new music? I used to do a lot of driving so that's why I am in the habit of listening to the radio. Although I flip through a lot of online radios station now.

I used to listen to shit loads of Pandora, then they shut off international access. So I switched to Last.FM which was great, until they shut off international access. I have spent several hundred dollars on digital downloads from those two recommendation engines. Now that the music companies have made it blatantly obvious that they don't want my business I say fuck them and I download albums from torrents. I will still occassionally purchase a particularly good album after torrenting, but not usually. The labels can go suck my fucking dick if they're going to treat international companies like second class citizens, and any artists that associate with them can fuck themselves by extension. Sorry for the rant.

Hummm, that makes me wonder, would that mean Bruce Willis would be over there promoting it? Since it's new to them he might have to.
