Why do I look more "cut" in the morning?

When I wake up in the morning, I look more cut/toned/whatever you wanna call it than I do later in the day. What's the reason behind this? Does it have something to do with water weight? Also, what does this say anything I should know about my body composition? I'm pretty skinny, not much muscle (5'10-11", 150 lbs).

It's a fact that you always weigh less in the morning than you do at night.

Because during the night you have sweated off, released through vapor, peed out about a half gallon or so of water. You can lose anywhere from about 1-4 pounds just from sleeping (with most of it being water).

Unless you have a very talented girlfriend/wife.

water... you havnt been eating food (any moisture counts as some water), or drinking or anything like that. Suppose you pee sometime during the night, or in the morning.... and sweat a little, etc etc.... less water, more cut...

I suppose

I'm confused as to what this has to do with it.

Also, even if I don't eat or drink anything I get less cut.

Also, in that case should I not be drinking a lot of water if I wanna look more cut? I'm a little confused. I drink a TON of water.

Because you don't see things as they really are ;)

Y'know what? It's not going to make enough difference for anyone but yourself to be able to tell.

water is good. Without it you'll start losing muscle mass. Believe me, i know. I once went 24 hours without a sip of water in order to lose 12 lbs in one day. I had to drop down to 103 lbs so that we'd have someone wrestling in that weight class (i usually wrestled at 112-119 lbs) and like an idiot, i didn't allow myself enough time. Without food or water for 24 hours, you feel like you want to die. The low blood sugar made me want to pass out all day, and not drinking any water made it feel like i was pissing sand. It also makes you cramp like a mofo when you're running and training to try to lose that excess water weight.

water weight does make you look less "cut," but it also helps to prevent muscle atrophy. If you were a body builder, you'd generally partially dyhydrate yourself before a competition.

what everyone else said, you are dehydrated therefore your muscles/skin are holding in less water so you look and feel a little more ripped. If you really want to look ripped, take sodium out of your diet completely for a cuople of days and drink very little water.....just see what happens. Don't do it for long periods of time plz, you need a lot of water during the day it is more healthy.
