Why do I have more space than I should?

So I was just looking at my SSD stuff, to make sure that everything was doing fine. And I noticed a consistent report that my SSD has 8gb more space than it should. Windows reports formatted size to be 119gb, while total size should be only 120gb. I dont have a 119gb formatted partition if I have 120gb total. SSDLife reports my SSD size as 128gb, HDtune reports it as 128gb, my BIOS reports it as 128gb and even windows says its 128gb. Yet the manufacturer and everyone else in the world says its only a 120gb drive:
