Why do I bother with buy.com?

Why do I keep ordering from that dump? This is the 3rd Christmas in a row that I have given them "one more try" and they have failed me 3 items in a row (at least they are consistent in their level of service).

I ordered 3 identical items on 12/7. On the 8th I get a "paypal payment failed" email due to failed authorization (I have never ever had an issue paying through paypal... I've paid for over $1000 in items this holiday season alone). Regardless, 24hrs later the payment finally goes through.

I get an email today (thats a full week later) saying the items have shipped... all 2 of the items that I ordered. Ummm wheres the 3rd that you charged me for? How is it going to be here now in time for Christmas?

I freaking hate this place. I don't care what super special or hard to find item they have... I am never buying there again... Fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me... screw me a third time.... God I'm stupid.


UPDATE: I still have yet to receive the original order. Checked UPS shipping once again as it was hung up in Illinois since the 20th. Here's the interesting tracking:

As long as you're not in a big hurry they're awesome, I've snagged some good deals from buy.com.

QFT...I have regularly ordered from BUY.com, this year is no exception.

However, I don't use Paypal from a merchant that can take a CC directly. Much more protection and ease this way.

I emailed right away and they emailed me back saying "sorry... we shipped it out...thanks"
So they saved some face I guess for a quick email reply.
 
Oh wait.... theres an update... I just checked and they charged me aagain for the 3rd one. There's a new $14 charge on my card. so now I've paid for 4 and 3 have shipped and I want 3
Fucking Christ.

I did most of my christmas shopping on amazon this year. Everything I ordered should be here by Friday. :thumbsup:
 
Why, you ask? Because they have great deals.. it's getting your item from point-A to point-B through them without anything happening to it that's the tricky part.

OH I bought 99% of my gifts online too. All without a single hassle, hiccup or issue. Not buy.com though. No email back from them yet. asses.
