The first auction I had some guy with a -1 rating won my auction. Surprise, he didn't pay!

Now I have another auction, and another guy with a -1 rating bids on my auction. THEN, this clown bids against himself with a different account. I can tell it's him because his email address is almost the same. He's jacking up the price and you know that's gonna make it less likely that he'll actually pay...

Why do I get stuck with these dorks?

Actually, sometimes what is even worse is getting someone who is in another country that bids on your items that clearly states no shipping internationally. And when this happens when that person is sniping, outbidding a good bidder at the last second, that really pisses me off.

that's pretty funny that you mention it, because an international bidder bid on my item and then asked to cancel the bid. oh man... i guess i just have bad luck.

I know how you feel. I had to badger an international buyer for a few weeks to even get them to respond after their first e-mail, when they won an auction for $500.00. Then they quit answering e-mails, so I told them if they did not respond by a certain date, I was going to sell it to the next highest bidder. They just happened to get back from holiday the day of my deadline. :frown: They now say that they have finally sent the payment, but we shall see. The auction closed on June 10th. :frown:

Why would someone bid the price up on an auction they're trying to win...that just doesn't make sense.

Ebay is seriously full of idiots. The only advantage to selling there is because you're playing to the mob, and you're more likly to sell it for more there.

I'll stick to AT FS/T thank you.

Simply put in your auction that seller reserves the right to cancel the bids of any buyer who has negative or no feedback. You as a seller can cancel bids during the auction.

If his one fake account jacks the bidding so high no one else will bid on it, then at the last minute cancels it goes to the lower bidder, the same person, total scam.

Yes, I think that's what is happening.

well I did put that I won't accept bids from peeps with negative ratings. i think that's the reason this guy bid against himself with a new ID. his old one had a negative rating.
