Why do gun companies setup in liberal states?

yep, even though almost half of us in california are "red" our opinions apparently don't matter . . espcially when it comes to guns!

Wouldn't labour laws and workforce skill levels have more to do with the choice of location or are the states actually limiting what can be manufactured and transported to a different state?
