Why do girls have smoother/moister/BETTER lips?

I use the same balm as HotChic. The best balm I've ever tried. Most of them actually chap your lips more. I have never known a man to use lotion or lip balm. They have the driest (sp?) skin and their lips aren't as smooth as they could be...but we forgive!

yeah it's just cuz they don't lick their lips like we do. saliva actually dries out the lips.

My fiance, never used any sort of chap stick or lotion on his skin until that is...he met me! I got him putting lotion on his elbows because they were so dry! Smooth elbows a very nice touch! And chapped lips are no fun to kiss, so moisturize, moisturize, moisturize!!

I like Carmex lip balm, the stuff is so addictive I buy 3-4 little tubs of it at a time,one goes in my desk at work,one in my knapsack,one at my home workstation and another on the nightstand.I hate having chapped lips !

We moisturize them, obviously. Also alcohol dehydrates the lips. So does that weird anti-acne stuff -- it makes them peel.
