Why do these Lardasses get special handicap permits ?
They get to park in the nice blue zone that the average joe never gets to use.

Shouldn't they be designated spots for them further away ?
They can definitely use the excercise :)

Because, they usually have bad knees because they are so fat that they buckle under the pressure.

Yeah, I'm not skinny, but I certainly don't have any sympathy for fat people. Try getting on the elevator of a 4-story building and having a fat girl get on to go up one floor. 3rd floor is questionable, but 4th floor is ok IMO. Lord knows that I need it, but at least I can justify it as a time-saver. What's their excuse? They're too fat? That's not an excuse not to lose weight.

Next we'll be hearing of crack addicts that don't think they should quit because they're crack addicts. WTF?

Havent you seen the simpsons? Hyperobesity gets you on disability, so it's only fair that you get handicapped permits too.

Heh, I used to work in a 2-story office building, and there were maybe 2 people other than me who used the stairs.

I think the medical term is "can't-afford-a-stomach-stapling-and-liposuction-itis"

sigh...these threads are getting old.

I guess everyone is feeling superior today. The world doesn't owe you anything, so deal with it.

It's pathetic that they'd have them. I have nothing but contempt for somebody who would actually use one of these and claim that they can't do anything about their weight, if their weight is the only reason that they have the pass. Disgusting. Also, I'd like to see a bat taken to people who use their relative's car and their relative has a valid handicap tag, and these people then park the car in a handicapped spot.

exercise is a pain and eatting is fun :D
people do what is easy and avoid anything that is difficulty. that's why we have at least 90 percent of the population that is overweight and obese. not to mention we stay indoor most of the time with the air conditioner turned to 75 or less. you need at least 80f to burn a little fat and 85f to burn even more fat. that's why people who are near the equator like africa, cambodia, vietnam, south america are the least fat.

i take the stairs alot
but a lot of the time i don't take them cuz im lazy ...and it might make me lose weight ...i can't afford to lose any at 5'11" and 135lbs

but yea us skinny people need handicap permits :D

edit: btw if anyone has been over to europe you'll notice very very few obese people and if it is a medically caused problem then you would think more people over there would obese.........(as many americans blame it on)

I am totally against fat people getting handicap permits. They should make fat people park the furthest away, so that they get some exercise at least. THIS JUST MAKES THE PROBLEM WORSE!!!!!

So, because someone is fat and has a disabled parking sticker, they automatically have it because they're overweight? I'm confused. People can be disabled and overweight.....probably has a result of being disabled.

And of course, The Simpsons is the most reliable source for information. ;)

I think that's a cop-out for most people who are fat. "It's a medical condition." "I have a thyroid problem."

Sure. Right. Gotcha. Uh-huh...

The fact that some people have very strict diets due to a seperate medical condition and cannot lose weight because of it is.

But when you start pushing 300... you need to re-evalute a lot of things and get some control.
