They're like $300 on a lot of websites that sell them. Anyone know where I can get a cheap diploma frame around ~$50

I had mine framed by a local art gallery / frame shop down the street. It cost around $90 I think.

Isn't a frame a frame? Either get a custom for $<100, or a cheap one slightly larger (I'm assuming it's a non-standard size) and put it on a white background.

Mine came in a nice embossed leather bound binder about 6? tall and 9? wide. It is open 60 degrees and displayed on a bookshelf behind my desk.

Mine came for $120 and had my school's seal on it.... try jostens or hoever its spelled.... $300 is stupid

However: my grandmother, a PhD from UPenn told me that money would have been no object in retrospect to preserve the paper her degrees were printed on...

something to think about..........

My university sold some ranging from ~$50 to ~$140. $300 is kinda crazy though unless the frame is made of marble or something.

You've got a college education now. You should be able to earn enough money to pay for the thing. :p

Because people have worked soo hard for the degrees and when it's finally over, they are willing to spend good money showing it off. Although, when I graduate, I dont think I'll shell out $300 on one. I'll pay no more than $100.

Yes, I know this is a spam bump.

That said - I will say that when you work 16+ years for a degree, you should be proud of it to a certain degree. Not to the point of shoving it down other people's throats, but framing it nicelsy wouldn't; be a bad idea. No clue what my mom paid for framing my diploma.

I framed my wife's diploma as a gift - and damn her for having to have a double major... thus a huge ass frame with space for 2 diplomas, 1 picture of the campus, and also space for tassels and junk for ~$350 or so. I forget at this point.

I can totally understand that, however mine is in a filing cabinet somewhere and the same will happen when I get my masters this next semester. I never even picked up my HS diploma. I guess I'm not sentimental when it comes to these things, I just do them to move up the career track.
