Hey all,
First, let me say right off that I am NOT making fun of deaf people. This is a serious question, and I am looking for a serious answer.
Some of you may know deaf people, and if not, surely you have seen it. A lot of deaf people, even those who were born deaf, WHILE THEY SIGN, just blurt very loud sounds that are no more coherent than MAAG BUUH FAHAAA UUHHH BAAEHHH.... Seriously. Now there are SOME (and I don't know if they were born deaf or not) who can speak well enough to barely be understandable. There is a famous actress who does very well. --But MANY MANY of them are COMPLETELY not able to be understood. --And they must know that. Surely someone has told them, right? AT LEAST someone has told them that they are very loud when they do it? So why do they? It just strikes me as VERY odd when someone who has never been able to speak or hear would still loudly mouth words. Anyone know why?
