I was gonna post this in the garage, but I figure OT can answer this better.
I often see cars get pulled over and issued fix-it tickets for anything that are not OEM, if the cop dislike you enough. Why then, are the super lifted trucks not given the same treatments? These lifted trucks present a far more dangerous and deadly combination in an accident than any "ricers" or fixed up street cars can be, yet they're revered.
Is it because a lot of cops themselves drive these monstrosities? You can ask anyone that worked in EMT, or firefighters what they usually see when they respond to an accident and I know some that had responded to these accidents hate those trucks with a passion. Decapitations usually are the results.
Why are they allowed to run around freely?
