Is it because their designers have terrible taste? Because of technological barriers? Or some kind of strategic positioning? There are some cars that look great like the Mazda 6, and then there's the Element.

I don't understand threads like this. Taste is relative. Secondly, not everyone cares what their cars look like. A Car to lots of people is simply "Point A to point B", where other people it may be all about the looks, the curves, the rims, the paint, etc. What looks like ass to you might just register to another as "cheap, reliable transportation."

^^^^^^^^^^^Must own an Element.

Ask General Motors and the people who buy their crap cars as they should know the answer to your question since GM has been churning out the ugliest pieces of crap for decades (with Pontiac leading the charge)......yet sheeple keep buying them. Go figure.

Different people have different taste, and some cars grow on you. I thought the Element and the Jeep Liberty both looked terrible when they came out, now I think they look fine. I think riced out Cavaliers look terrible, some people don't.

GM has made some great looking cars. Now Japanese manufacturers such as Toyota and Honda have the most unimaginitve ugly ass car designs in the world. I really dont have to say anything more since their shapes and ugly designs speak for themselves.

GM has made some great looking cars about 40 years ago. Now Japanese manufacturers such as Toyota and Honda have the most unimaginitve car designs in the world but are still ages ahead of the General's Crap, with the exception of the Element and xB. I really dont have to say anything more since their shapes and ugly designs speak for themselves.

because car manufacturers have to guess what's gonna be crispy 5+ years out. that siht aint easy. the early adoption curve on must stuff peaks out at like three years.

for example, who saw crunk juice coming? i know i did. but did you? no. thats because i'm cooler than you.

wtf is crunk juice?
The latest from Lil' Jon. Terrible.

I believe crunk juice is the new Lil' John album. Just saw some ad on TV for it. I can't take that guy seriously after Chappelle did him.

But you could before that? 😕
Exactly what I was thinking.

I agree. Old GM stuff was awesome but in the 70's they took a nosedive and have never pulled their heads out of the butts since.
