I would much rather have a recording feature than a camera or any of that other stuff I don't use

uh...I think that's an invasion of privacy. People on the other line might not want to be recorded.

As mentioned above, invasion of privacy. No one should need to record a conversation really.

If it means that much to you, get a mic recorder, hold it up to the phone, or put it on speakerphone, and press "Record". BAM, you're all set to go.

Otherwise, dont' be a tattle tale. ;)

There is hardware limitations in Windows mobile to doing it. You can record your side, but not the other side. I believe there is apps for symbian that will allow you to record both sides, but there are a multitude of legal issues regarding recording calls.

The laws differ from state to state, some states only require that one person be aware of the conversation being taped(the taper obviously) for the tape to be admissible in court. while others say that both callers must be aware that they are being recorded. I doubt you'll ever find a cell phone with a recorder, simply because of the differing laws in differing states and phone manufacturers not wanting to end up in the middle of some ugly high profile case that could set a precedent for them to be sued.
