The funny thing about your flagrant generalizations is how far off you are. Few cat owners let them roam because...guess what...they get killed.

Chris, I'm sure your neighbors on Paddington Ct. will be as interested in this public confession as will the Columbus police department.

Which would you like us to start contacting first? :|

If you show cat owners a video of a cat getting killed, they go apesh!t. Then they make no changes whatsoever to prevent this from happening to their cat. If anything, they'll stock up on more cats.

proof? such a total bs statement.

It's in the cat owners nature to do that? Read the title of the thread.

I don't blame the cats for wanting to roam, for that's what they do. He's blaming the cat OWNERS for allowing them to do that. Hell, most dogs would like to take a crap on your front lawn, but the dog owner should not allow that.

The running for the top 10 continues. What solution are you proposing other than making the cat an indoor cat? Telling the cat not to roam? Putting it on a lease. What are you talking about?

And where does this nonsense come from: "cat owners, who are often emotional wrecks"?

What kind of proof do you want?

I'm sure that there are plenty of responsible cat owners with a cat or two. But there seem to be a huge number of cat fanatics with 20, 40, 80+ cats.

Close the door, maybe? Is it really that hard to figure out?

I mean, you already know that there's a cat inside that wants to get out. Can't blame the cat for that. But are you telling me that you honestly cannot figure out a way to keep that cat in?

Have you not read the posts in this thread? It seems that the cat owners fully support letting their cat roam. Look at the poster I replied to.

Of all the possible reasons for positioning high powered ordnance right next to your front door, this has to be the most pathetic one anyone has ever personally admitted to.

BOO! Hahahahahaha! Made you wet yourself, you paranoid pussy . . . hater.

You are wraped way too tight for living. Grow up, and shut up while you're at it. Why must people get their panties in a twist over such small things? Do you honestly have nothing better to worry about?

I would like to know this also.

At what point did it become Ok that someone elses pet is aloud in MY yard?? Stupid things jump on MY car and leave marks. I'm always having to hit the breaks or swerve so I dont hit the dumb things. So it's not safe for one. The piss on other peoples things and crap on other peoples property. Why does YOUR pet get to wander around without a leash? I would honestly like to know why society has aloud this. Any pet no matter what it is should only be aloud on the owners property or on a lease or in a cage. Some new laws should be made.

WRONG.

No, they are not. You as a pet owner have a legal responsibility to contain your pet.

And about the cat simply leaving, you'd be surprised by how fast some dogs are.

Did you delete the WARNING YOU JUST GOT about not troling on the MOD's territory?

No, I did not delete the warning. That disappeared by itself, and afterwards I toned down my post.

Idiots moved into the neighborhood recently, and now we have a cat roaming the neighborhood. First off, I fail to see how having your pet roaming loose in the neighborhood is ever a good idea, but I also cannot imagine the gall of thinking that my neighbors would want my animal wandering around.

Second, what's amusing is that this is definitely a dog neighborhood -- probably every third house has a dog and about half of them are large breeds. Woe be the cat that wanders into the wrong yard.

Third, I was walking my dog, and this damn cat is sitting there. Now, my dog absolutely hates cats stemming from them invading our garage in our first house, but I've never let her go after them off-leash because I'm worried what she would do since she's a 75lb Rhodesian Ridgeback. I don't appreciate having this feline squatter lounging around interrupting my dog's walk, primarily because it disrupts her "business".

Keep your cats inside. :|

Shut the hell up. Cats don't do you any harm. Are you worried one might beat the crap out of your dog or something? :|

Well, you might as well start somewhere if you want to debunk my post. Just professing that you don't know where to start only proves that you don't know where to start.

Which part of that post do you want to debunk first, the part about there being plenty of responsible cat owners with a cat or two, or the part about there being cat fanatics with 20,40, or 80+ cats? You know that neither of those claims are hard to prove, so I guess you're best served by the nonsensical declaration that you don't know where to start.

i dont like it. i have half a mind to put out a live trap and just kidnap one, they drive my dog crazy, and thats not good at night when he sees one through the patio door and starts barking.

i don't blame people for shooting or poisoning intruding cats. its tresspass. the owner made the choice,i say fine, if the cat meets a bad end so be it

Dude, anything more than .22 is ridiculous overkill for an animal the size of a domestic cat.

And the most fearsome thing I keep by my front door, lol, is an umbrella stand.

You?

What do you expect from a thread where the OP thinks his type of domesticated animal is superior to anothers domesticated animal.

I bet you're one of those people who volunteers to vote on a poll and selects the option that reads: "I don't know"
