Plus they get so many holidays. It really annoys me that you can't make an electronic payment on a holiday.

1. I work for tips at one job. 100% cash.
2. Had to go in to talk to someone about a mortgage
3. Bank made me go to branch to update my address

Banks in Raleigh, NC close at 5pm, and 6pm on Fridays. Certain locations are open on Saturday, too.

Personally, I wish most service-related businesses would go back to being closed earlier, and on weekends. Americans have gotten into the habit of working too much.

My bank (US Bank) @ the branch inside of Publix doesn't close until 8 or 9 depending on if someone is there or not.

That's one of the reasons why I stuck with Wells Fargo. They have a branch in a Super Targer near me that is open until 7:00PM M-F, from 10-2 on Saturday, and 12-4 on Sunday.

It's nice.

Strip club opens at 4:00.

Fixed.

But seriously... who goes to a bank anymore? I run a business and I NEVER go to the bank.

I still like cashing my checks at the bank. Maybe that's cuz I don't cash many checks, and I've probably only written 30 checks in my whole lifetime still (yes I'm young).

BoA closes at 6PM here. Still it's bs.

Complain about banks? Complain about fvcking USPS. Sh!ttiest place ever.

At least FedEx closes at 9PM for pickup -- makes sense for us working Americans.

TD Canada Trust has great hours. I think the one by my house is open 9am-8pm weekdays, and to 4 or 5pm Saturdays.

Yup, except mine closes at 3:30 Sundays, not sure what Sat hours are. I always use the machine though, so the hours don't matter to me.

It pays to have a decent relationship with your bank...any fee they charge, interest rates, "required" time to "clear" a check...it's all up to their discretion.

My bank is open until 5pm..drivethrough until 5:30 on Thurs/Fri, and 8:30-12 on Saturday.

There's one down in Gainesville FL that's open from 7:30am to 7:30pm, or something crazy like that..

You need paper money to grease peoples palms, gamble, go to bars (bartenders hate plastic), spend at sporting events, spend at concerts, whole loads of things.
I take it your life doesnt involve much like that then? hehe

before they had to do alot of the calculations (after customers left), and do the extra work the computers do right now........so today some banks keep those hours just because.
