Why do baby bananas turn red when steamed.

I notice when you steam baby bananas in some food items they will turn a deep red color. Anyone know the cause of this.

when the aliens kidnapped me they told me why this happens but i cant tell you or they will turn me into a banana.

Hmm... I never heard of steaming bananas.

I fry plantains, and I eat Cavendish and the little red bananas raw. And when they come, I eat ice cream bananas raw off of my banana tree.

You steamed them during peanut butter jelly time, and that pissed them off, so they turned red.

When you steam them, the blood vessels swell up and pop.
They are bleeding..
