I remember of hearing one such company, I think it was Russian based, that was caught writing many of the viruses it was always first to stop. I can't seem to find it with Google though.

I really don't think the mainstream antivirus vendors do that though. HOWEVER, antivirus vendors are informed of new viruses almost instantly, and are capable of stopping them before it is even an issue. But on occasion they let it go just long enough to allow an outbreak, to keep their sales of new software up (so I've been told).

after taking out the money, they just throw the whole phone somewhere else ,
