Why do Asians make good doughnuts?

Beats me, but around here, a couple of the grocery stores make fresh doughnuts. People rave about Krispy Kreme & Dunkin Doughnuts, but both suck compared to the grocery store doughnuts that cost half the price.

Around here, all the Asian donut shops have mediocre donuts and they all taste the same. I look for the non-Asian donut shops (like the one in Celina...) their glazed donuts are to die for... or at least to drive 15 miles for.

I love Von's/Safeway fresh doughnuts in the morning. So soft... mmmm. Add chocolate milk for mouthgasm.
