George Bush senior lied to the Saudis and the world about Iraq amassing troops near the Saudi border with doctored satellite pictures.

Clinton bombed Iraq everytime Paula Jones or Monica Lewinsky came up. Lets not forget "I never had sex with that woman."

Bush Jr... do I even have to begin talking about his lies?

So why do these Prez lie so openly and why do people support them? You all are educated and literate.

I submit the following--does anyone remember our hero George W. Bush landing on that carrier--he came out dressed in full flight suit including the piss bottle --to declair victory in Iraq and assume the mantle of victorius war time president.

Well in W's case, it clear that man was so stupid he believed his own lies and the lying liars around him.--------and has learned nothing since.--and knew nothing before. But it just goes to show what a man someone like Karl Rove can make of anyone with a just a little image, spit, polish, and spin.

The new question is what future presidential canididate will buy a used war from W. Bush.

What does it matter which religious fanatic religion kills you?

As bad as the Moslems are, Christians are way way way ahead on killing innocent people. Just read your history books and tally the box score. No shortage of killing is ever to be found regardless the time period.

As for the topic...politicians lie because, to them, everything is politics. War, economics, crime, drugs, terrorism, whatever, all present no objective reality to a politician. It's all just politics, I don't think their view it as lying...it's just a game of politics on a different topic. And in politics, there is no true or false, it's all simply about interpretation and opinion and spin.
 
To Rainsford who makes a valid point that the truth is always some shade of grey.

But there are some things that are clear lies such as saying THIS CAN BE CAUSED BY ONLY THAT
when the politician know Damn well there are alternate explanations but thats another thread called hype.

hoping that Rove is indicted and the future debate will be on which is dumber. Recon they will be allowed to be
