Why do all the hotties eventually dissapear over time?

You know, it's funny, but SD has a point. I think it's a marketing thing.


I remember when a VS opened in the only mall near here. At that point, the mall was fairly active with a Penneys at one end and a Sears at the other, Spencer Gifts, plus a few other major retailers in between and a decent food court. I'd go in and wander around for a couple of hours. VS was just about dead center and had two big front doors. At first, every clerk there looked like one of the catalog models, or were maybe trying out for the role. I swear they'd flown them in from LA or NY.

Over the next year or two, they all changed. The slim, trim glamour girls with full makeup, hair and heels were gone and it was all frumpy old ladies in smocks and orthopedic shoes.
Young people move on to other things, older people stock around longer, over time you start to skew older.
