Why do 15-30 minute...........

Studies have shown that effective power napping is waking up right before you fall into REM. wake to early and you get the dry-eye garbage feeling and wake late you feel groggy.
I personally just sleep through the entire class 😛
 
A nap for more than 4 hours = bs. I sleep for about 5 - 6 hours a night as a 15 year old, then sleep through most my classes, 30 minute naps.
 
ive learned to go on 5 hours of sleep a day. ive been doing it for the past 2 months with no side effect at all. no need for a power nap when i can do power-sleeping. 😛

Pff, if I sleep through class I usually end up sleeping past the bell, and I'm the only one left in the class when the teachr comes and has to shake me pretty hard to wake me up. =/
 
I envy anyone who can take a nap and I am surprised at your comments. I have never been able to nap even as a little kid, naptime was something that I dreaded. Just can't fall asleep.
 
I love power napping.....20-30 min is perfect. But I also enjoy napping for about 3 hours then getting up and going straight to bed.

secret is to wake up right before you hit REM so your not groggy when you get up. So I set my watch to go off at 20 mins. Then when I wake, I'm almost 100% alert from the get go.
