I don't get why he's pandering to the fringe. They're gonna vote for him either way. Who else are they gonna vote for? If he was smart he would be pandering to the middle who are scared shitless by the crazies on the right fringe.
 
His unconscious is doing what is best for the nation by insuring he fucks up at every turn and doesn't get elected. We saw what a disaster Bush was. He may even be running to keep the Republicans from gaining another branch of the government, like a good patriotic plant.
