The asteroid did not kill the dinosaurs, plenty survived and are actively shitting on my roof.

Many mammalian species died as well.

Uh, you're suggesting that QAnon was originally a joke and that Trump latched onto it for political hay? That's a new one on me.
Yeah, it sure seems like probably some 4chan twit was fucking with the gullible chumps, and the schmucks and rubes gobbled it up because they've got no critical thinking skills, and since they revere that bastard he was all too happy to accept their adulation.

Literally correct. Some asshat was trolling a bunch of morons and it turned into the most disastrous political movement of the last ~100 years.

Yes, Qanan started as a joke but, as nakedfrog said, there are some really, really stupid people in world. It's like Scientology, a religion known to have been started as a dare.

I'm not "suggesting" anything. ;)

Be aware that the Dumpster doesn't believe in Q-Anon anymore then you or I do, he just has zero-issues using groups of morons to his own advantage no matter how reprehensible their beliefs/actions are. (all that POS cares about is money & power)

Humans. Humans are all susceptible to the same fallacies because we're flawed bags of meat and bone piloted by a bundle of nerves.
My ambition in high school was to become a scientist. I was derided by someone when I said that. Does sound naïve, perhaps. However, a scientist is someone who at least aspires to truth, objectivity, embraces humility. You must admit that some people are far easier to take, to communicate with, to be around, are far more tolerable, sympathetic and understanding than others.

I listened to this today:

He will pretend to believe something if he thinks it's to his advantage. The fact is he doesn't have a compass for truth, he finds the notion of truth inconvenient.

I listened to this today:

All humans are scientists to an extent, as we all act on the same impulse of discovery and exploitation of the unknown. We've codified the process but even those unfamiliar with it still walk down the same well-traveled paths.

You guys should check out Q: Into the Storm. It traces the history of the Q movement up to the Jan 6 attack, and it's nothing short of fascinating.

Then someone pissed him off, and he killed all but a few, and untold millions of animals, cause he's such a nice, caring, and loving god... as documented in the wholly full of shit babel.
