I got named Charles after my grandfather, and great grandfather and my great great grandfather and so on....
what are you naming your son ?

Probably Charles.
Ill probably pass on the name Bryant to my son since I feel so special with the name ;)

If I have more than one son I might, but the first one will be named something different, Charles is damn boring anyways.

Charles is a fine name, Chuck.

Peppermint Patty is that you? ;)

Actually they wanted to name me Steve, but my Aunt had her son first and used up Steve.

Spanky

My mom said I was a fat little baby that looked like Spanky (odd, since I'm skinny and always have been).

My parents named me Andrew... after one of my dad's grandfathers or great grandfathers or something like that.

They hadn't decided on my middle name, Lewis, until after I was born. I hear that Dad suggested 'Lewis' while mom was giving my name to the attending nurse. He told mom that he liked it. We later found out that he wanted it to be Lewis because that was another name from his family.

So I got my entire (first, middle, and last) name from my dad's side of the family. A family that I absolutely hate, and that has disowned me. :|

I was named after a classical guitarist my parents, namely my Mom, was very fond of. My parents are both musicians trained in the classical sense. My father conducted and teaches music and my Mom played oboe for many years (never professionally but she could have been). You could probably figure out who I was named after partly by my member name.

Grandfather = Alfred
Grandfather = Arthur
Father = Ronald

Sum that up to Aaron.

But it may have just been one hell of a coincidence... I have never been able to get a straight answer out of my parents.

They named me Robyn because my dad was on the way to the hospital and there were a bunch of robins in the road, he had to slow down and honk to avoid running a bunch of them over. When he got to the hospital, I was already born (dads never went into the delivery room back then), and he asked to name me after the birds. My mom changed the "I" to "Y" to make it more interesting.
