Scary that's exactly what happened to me, I started out at DVDTalk.com in April 1999, kept hearing about this weird AnandTech place in DVD Bargains and Other Bargains ... I came here every now and then, eventually I just took the plunge ... You get some of THE BEST Hot Deals, FS/FT, Hardware and OT stuff here all in one board.

This place kicks major ass compared to other forums.

I lurked for over a year, I was putting together a new system and was looking for feedback on different MBs and combinations. I stumbled into OT and found a thread that I just HAD to repond to.
 
It was the the 101st PC forum I joined... the others banned me

What you meant to say was the Honda, Mazda, Toyota, Ford, GM, Chrysler, Kia, Daewoo, BMW, and other car forums banned you because of your Hyundai propoganda? j/k
 
hahaha.. oh man, EXACTLY the same as my reason.

Anyone know how that class action lawsuit ended up, btw? I got a notice in the mail but never the check.. any info would be much appreciated.
 
My gf used to like the deals forum. Then I started lurking in the hardware forum. Soon after I signed up and got hooked to OT.

So strange, that is exactly what happened with me, 'cept it was a FS/T thread that got the first response from me!
