What's wrong with counting the votes? Gore's request of hand counting all the votes is not unreasonable. Doesn't everyone agreed that blanks votes and double votes are all meant for Gore.
Isn't it clear that his supporters were unable to press the machine hard enough and that sometimes they made mistakes of punching a hole into someone else area when they really mean to choose Gore - that's why they just have to punch it correctly and have their votes counted?
All he needs is less than 200 of these blank votes or double votes and he wins the election!
