why did the painted laptop thread get locked?

lets keep posting about it so that each thread will get locked again.

Yeah I was wondering the same thing, but I didn't read the whole thread, so I dunno if something was said somewhere that warranted locking?
 
I think it was appropriate in this forum, just because its off topic doesn't mean there isn't computer related stuff here. What about the show off your rig thread, and the desktop thread?

Its not the painting of the laptop, it was the colour. That shade of blue is a Holy colour and should never be used for such unholy purposes.

Those that miss use that colour will be struck down by the o'great one. Now peace be with you.

😕 I highly doubt that. If that was the case, then surely the mod would've just moved the thread, especially since it was a topic that could have easily been justified as being in the right forum in OffTopic.

You're probably right. So right infact, that vshah should have posted his laptop painting odyssey in an entirely different forum that is not AT. Is the forums on laptoplogic.com or even notebookforums.com the appropriate place?

I would rather have the thread about painting the lapppy in OT will a bunch of people would see it than at another website altogether.
