Why delay palominos?

Or maybe they can't manufacture them in numbers?

That's what seems to be most likely to me at the moment ... it's the two most common reasons, I think.
 
Its been said for months Desktop Palomino wouldnt be out till August.... this isn't a delay this has been known.
 
CPU roadmaps are being revised/reshuffled mainly due to the current poor economic conditions, ie. companies want their newest, high-end chips to command a higher price (and margin), which is something that is difficult to do right now in a soft market.
