Why, Costco? WHY?

I thought Coke was better than Pepsi, in fact I hate Pepsi, but given this news I guess I'll be switching to drinking Pepsi. Costco can do no wrong.

Agreed. I thought it was odd considering the Pepsi machines are right next to the Coke 20oz coolers. A very saddening change.

To make matters worse the new Pepsi machine peed all over my hand when I used it for the first time. The lever stuck so I used my hand to move it forward and stop the flow of soda. It gurgled and shot out some more soda on my hand as a thank you. Its like it knew I hated its very existence.

They've served Pepsi as long as I remember. Though I try to avoid the sodas.

Sad thing is, Costco only sells their hot dogs bundled with a free soda.

It's tempting not to just drink water with a free soda, I usually 'compromise' with the Rasberry Iced Tea but it's probably as unhealthy as the soda, darn it.

costco here used to have proper fresh brewed iced tea. no longer though. only the sugary raspberry stuff.

Costco and Coke have been going round and round for years. Coke wants to dictate the price that Costco sells Coke and Costco disagrees. At one point Costco actually banned ALL Coke products from all the Costco's. They moved to Pepsi at their food courts due to this problem. I am a Coke fanatic, but I really love Costco, more than Coke. I like the way one big corporation stands up to these other big corporations.

I don't really care much about the Pepsi vs. Coke wars. I prefer the taste of Coca-Cola, but usually buy Pepsi-Cola for home use. Why? Because it's usually considerably cheaper by the 12 pack.
