Arrgh! I hate that too. It also seems to send the files in some freaking random order, so then when one fails you can't be sure which ones it sent and which it didn't without looking at the new location. IT SUCKS.

DAMN YOU MINOR INCONVENIENCES!!

I hate that too. But on rare occasions it is a decent feature. Windows is built around a simple philosophy: either (a) the user action works as intended or (b) nothing is done at all. When an error appears, it is obvious which option Windows will take - b.

No, no, no. This is obviously a software issue. Or...um...is it a technical support issue since he can't get what he wants to work? But I truely think his real issue is a General Hardware issue since the hard drive is corrupted. Lets solve this and post in all of the above - that'll make Anandtech so much better. :roll:

Yeah. I think it depends on which file you drag (if you're dragging them over), and it does that one first. After that it either goes back to the top and starts there or uses the dragged file as the beginning point. Or something.

Nonetheless, it's annoying as fvck. I hate when it happens during a big transfer, cause then I have to cherry-pick files or just do them all again (easier).

Cut -> paste
Fail
Select all but the top file.

I heartily agree.
They need to add a "Keep moving the rest of the files anyway, dumbass" button to that dialog box.
