Why can't we get together and use our ATOT power to solve some problem?

There's so much intelligence, creativity, brainpower, and free time displayed here. Ever wonder why we can't get together and do something big and make life better for mankind, or at least do something spectacularly pointless?

So far the only thing we've worked really intensely on is:
* how not to make it with the opposite sex
* 4728940 nasty (but funny) putdown responses for every occasion
* movies, music, etc that we love, and why you're a moron for not agreeing
* how to nef, hijack, cry "repost", and parody

Not that I'm complaining, of course - that's why I hang out here. Any suggestions?
 
You mean a bunch of guys that will start of 500 post flame thread about whether or not Hersheys bars or Hersheys bars with almonds are better?
 
Hey, I know. We could use our computers for something. Maybe make like a system where each computer does part of some specific job. Get it? Like a... distributed computing system?
Then we could like hunt for aliens or help find a new drug or something like that!!! That would be really COOL! Anybody???

EDIT: Oh, and we could have here like an own forum for that stuff aswell!!!

My idea was termed "ATvention" where we all put our heads together to create an invention. Start off small, then use those profits to develop a business and larger inventions..

We also found an answer to the problem of all the political nutjobs in the world....dump them all in a hole called P&N.

I would also say that the majority of ATOT people are unemployed, what does that say about our skill sets??
