My son goes to the school I teach in.
He has swim practice after school. I was ready to grab my things and go home at 3:30 today. But nooooo, I had to sit here til 5:30/5:45 to wait for him to get out of practice.

He called my wife, and went home, sick, this morning. No one told me.

I sat here, posting on ATOT to kill the time, for nothing.

Gasp! You mean, he should, talk to his wife??!! What sort of twisted world do we live in?!

I for one will not raise my son to speak to his wife if he has issue with her! Blasphemy!
 
My classroom is 75 feet from the nurse's office... WHY couldn't he stop by my room and say "hey, Dad, I'm going home, sick. Can you get my homework for me?" Nope. My wife went to work at 11am, so it must have been before that. Oh well... off to home now.
