Why can't politicians be subjected to performance reviews?

We already do this, its just that their hiring managers are incompetent.

Don't blame the politicians. Blame the ignorant masses that keep them in power. Just look around on this forum, too many people believe that it's ok to steal and violate an individual's free will as long as there is an emotionally appealing reason for it (saving lives, etc).
