Why can't Pink sing?

Pink is representative of today's pop music.

Talentless slutty 16 year old girls and effeminate boys who can't hold a tune worth a damn, but have been taught some dance moves money-see monkey-do style and given a makeover.
 
I remember Pink and her dad once came into the Best Buy store that I worked at, and her dad got all pissed off because he had to wait in line for a computer. So he cursed out my friend and stormed out the store, later when they told my friend that that was Pink and her dad, he was like "who the f#ck is Pink?". It was funny...

Hmm, i don't know, i've always wondered; is Pink african american or caucasion? I don't know why, i KNOW she's light complexion, but i've always had this gut feeling that told me she was black.

Just goes to show how much technicians can alter someone's voice so they sound good on a CD but put 'em live on a stage and their true suckiness shows through. It's sad that too many "singers" are produced that way.

hehe...i think the same thing whenever i just happen to see the backstreet boys perform on mtv or something...yeah...just accidental channel surfing there....yeah....
 
The Mix board and PC at the studio go a long way, If the people that manage to make these groups sound good dont allready make big $$$$ they need a raise

You guys are extremely critical of all the singers/groups on SNL. A good 90% of the groups you love to hear on CD sound like crap live. I thought she did a decent job and I'm not even a fan of her. You can only hear SUPAR AWSUM Dave Matthews so many times before your eyes explode with blood.

Another case of: "I'd like to hear you do better"..

I can't speak for anyone but myself. I don't like Pink's style of music. It's weak. It doesn't matter if it's Pink, Britney, Destiny's Child. It's all crap IMO. It's more about her personal looks/style (she dyed her hair pink and changed her name to Pink -- what does that tell you?), and that stupid dancing. It's not music, it's entertainment. Some like it, many don't.

BTW, I hate Dave Matthews, too.
 
They need to have Alicia Keys on more 🙂 There's someone with talent AND appeal, not just one or the other.
