Why can't people in these threads stay on topic?

Why can't people in these threads stay on topic? I have notice that almost every thread has someone bend the topic off the original topic. We all know it is our own (America's) fault and President Bush in particular that is responsible for all the world's wrongs. It seems that every thread moves over to the blame game.

That's your opinion, I for one don't understand how Iran can continue to support their current position....

It is caused by the ideosyncratic nature of manking and the constant feeling of being oppressed. It is the crying out in the wilderness for all the wrongs we see. It is the result of having an abundance of overwhelming desire to free ourselves of guilt and search for the meaning of life. It is the inferential assumptions of a misplaced comma or a word with more than one meaning. It is a display of freedom.
I noticed that Obi Wan spoke little but said much. That Yoda spoke in riddles. That Quark had a heart. That we never see the other side of the moon and wonder why.
And probably because Bush lost in 2000 but, still managed to invade Iraq.;)

I thought it was because of the artificial chemicals in junk food. Of course that is also Bush's fault - or Clinton's - or Saddam's - or ???

Nah the chemicals are real ones they just replace real food. They appearing in junk food is because they are cheaper to make that way and they last longer on the shelf. This is good business and therefore, must be Reagan, Bush and Bush's fault... with a bit of Nixon on the side.;)

This thread has drifted wildly off topic and needs reorienting:

Everything is our own (America's) fault and President Bush in particular that is responsible for all the world's wrongs. Ain't that the truth. Thank God we didn't elect him. The Supreme Coup is, of course, to blame. They stopped the vote count that Gore actually had the most of because some wanted to retire and they didn't want liberal replacements.

The notion of "Retire" was developed by discernment into the potholes created by a Conservative lead Congress bolstered by a Conservative Administration and the resulting destruction to the highways and biways of our land and the failure to remedy the same in the more underdeveloped lands that live without commercial attraction to the road repair gang that established the conditions to start with. They have destroyed their own circular devices while perpetrating the mirage of convience on the world... they must retire using the same as what needs repair... no?

. . . and the circle jerk continues.

You're both to be commended for your "staying power".
