Why can't most people spell "WEIRD" correctly?

i don't know.......... just irks me.

i also hate the "your/you're" and "their/they're" mixups.

I'm not anal.. just a pet peeve

Stupid english exceptions. Rules should be rules. That's why I stick to mathematics. At least I know where I stand.

I am also anal about spelling, but the whole i before e thing is really annoying.

Also, pronunciation is annoying, like weigh and weird. Why does ei sound different in each.
