Why can't I see my Local Area Network anymore?

I just installed Norton Internet Security 2002 on my XP system and can no longer access files on my parents computers. And since the printer is routed through their computers, it means I can't print anything..

Anyone know how I can change it so Norton doesn't block the network?

I'm sure I'll regret asking this, but why do you have Norton Internet Security if you already have a router (and therefor a hardware firewall)?

Internet Zone Control -> Trusted -> Add IPs
