Maybe because you don't have a floppy drive?

Duh an error message could help, but this will solve your problem

Take out your disk, and push down that black switch thing on the top corner of the disk.

Make sue that the floppy is not write protected and then format it. After that, you should be able to copy or save a file to it, assuming the file is equal to or less than 1.44MB.

Hmmm... your name means "household" in Greek. Spiffy :)

as for your problem, I suggest freshly formatting the disk and trying it again. It may be bad media, a bad floppy or the pesky write protect thing.

Cheers ! :)

OT, but it amazes me sometimes how many people post questions on AT first, instead of trying to systematically figure something out or fix it. I usually don't post a question unless I'm completely stumped or somehow can't find an answer on google, but I've seen posts that are like "My computer's on fire! What do I do????" or "I just got cut and am bleeding!!! What do I do???" First of all, your first logical reaction shouldn't be "lets go post on AT!" Sorry for the mini-rant and semi-thread crap, but just figure some people could use some common sense.

<< So, how the hell does OIKOS know Greek but not know about floppy disk tabs? >>

Uh... I fail to see how knowing another language and not knowing about floppies are related...
