why cant i overvolt my a7v8x

Yeah so i had my jumpers set to default which is no over volt on my a7v8x, i overclocked and took it up to 1.85v and decided id take it further but when i set my jumpers to overvolt and rebooted it didnt unlock the higher voltages in my bios, why the hell wont it let me overvolt....anyone have any ideas?
