Im trying to install windows 95OSR2 on my bookPC, I tried to do it from 3 different sourses, original CD, CD-R, and from harddrive, after setup starts and i press yes or agree to the terms it crashes on the next screen, previously the HD had Windows ME but i deleted the partition and created it over again, I also tried Fdish /mbr whats wrong here?

Try adding the following parameters:

setup.exe /ie /im /is /iv /nr

If that fails, you may have a faulty memory module. If you have more than one, try removing one at a time and see if that solves your problem. Failing that install Win98SE :D

Good Luck!

I've never heard of this! You might want to switch different comnponents in your comp! Try using a different vid card. I dont know!

What do you mean by "crashes"? Is there an error message? Does the mouse freeze? Does the computer stop responding for a while?

Have you ensured that your 'boot sector virus scanning' option has been turned off in your BIOS? I've had problems with installs in the past and this was the culprit.
