Insane3D, you are absolutely correct that all mobos don't initialize the cpu and chipset in the same manner BUT ABIT users are having the same problems, and the same solution works. Even though I don't like ABIT for quality reasons, they are the KING of BIOS overclocking. The simple facts remain undisputed, BIOS values are stored in CMOS memory, they must be READ from memory using CPU cycles and the values stored in hardware registers or other means to change the built in defaults. These instructions are executed at some default values which certainly appear to be effected by the L6 bridges for multiplier and L7 for the voltage. I do believe that the 133 option on the ABIT mobo is a BIOS setting, not a jumper like the other mobos, therefore on the ABIT mobo, it could initialize at a default of 100 with a 'B' type cpu.
