Why can't I find a CR-V3 battery holder?

I figure I must either be missing (a) something incredibly obvious or (b) some incredibly well-kept secret as to why they're not available (not even on Alibaba?), but despite several very broad web searches, I have not been able to find a simple battery holder for a CR-V3 battery. Anyone know where I can get one, or alternatively, why I can't get one? I guess I can kludge something up with a 2xAA holder, but not only would a pre-made one be neater and easier, at this point I'm just really curious why I'm not finding one specifically designed for the CR-V3...

Wikipedia says it's the same shape and size as side by side AA so why wouldn't you use a 2AA holder?

Seems to me that battery was typically used in cameras where is slid into the body. I guess holders weren't terribly popular.

THANK YOU! I'd put the search on the backburner out of frustration. I figured these had to exist, but I hadn't yet come across one and couldn't think offhand how to limit my searches to exclude the other ("non-parallel"?) sort.

I don't know, but this thread is now #3 when you google "CRV3 battery holder" so your odds aren't looking good
Too funny! So much for "you can find out 'anything' on the Internet", huh?

This is the first link, you have to register to see anything but might be worth a shot if you haven't checked it yet:

Thanks, I'll look into that.

Now that LTC8K6 gave me a link (and a name) for the sort of holder that'll work, that's what I'll do. But most 2xAA holders have the spring contacts on opposite ends of the holder, so you'd pretty much have to take the thing completely apart and then put it back together again (or try - not so easy with cheap little plastic holders.) At the rate things seemed to be going, I was just going to buy some plain spring contacts and kludge something up with those.

I wasn't expecting to find a ton of them out there, but I'm still surprised that I haven't been able to find a single one anywhere, or for that matter, any discussion of the subject. I realize the batteries aren't likely to be wildly popular with DIYers since they're usually expensive and there are cheaper ways to get similar power unless space is at a real premium, which it usually isn't in homebrew-type gadgets. For that matter, I wouldn't be looking for one myself, except that my local Staples put a bunch of the batteries with a few years of apparent shelf-life left in 'em on clearance for $2/2-pack and without quite knowing what I'm going to do with them, I couldn't pass them up at that price...:D
