Why can't I edit the thread title?

I have two threads that I want to edit the title for.

The title is getting updated only in the OP and not the main title.

Go to the Advanced options after selecting the Edit option

I did that. I don't think I was clear in my OP, but this pic should do the job.

Hold your mouse to the right of your thread, off of the link itself & double left click.

Yes. Double left click in the white space to the right of the titles. Then edit the title from there.
