i recently got my wisdoms pulled, (it's been about a week and a half). Last nite i drank with a straw completely forgetting that i wasn't supposed to. i was wondering, why is it not good to drink with a straw?

becusae of the suction created in your mouth from drinking with a straw-- supposedtly it can be bad, maybe pull out the stitches in your tooth holes

hmm...then i'd probably be able to tell by now if things had gone wrong by me drinking from a straw, right?

suck = suckout blood clots = dry sockets = excruciating pain.
