Try using CloneCD. A new version has just been released, Beta 4 and it should get the job done. If not your CDRW might not support the copy protection scheme that The Sims uses.

Just an FYI for you, bro: That's just a little illegal, and tends to be frowned on here. Oh and EZ CD Creator will never burn a copy of a copyrighted cd... I'd suggest you use a better proggy, but only on games you own!

The copy protection is preventing you from making an illegal copy of the game.

Just for clarification: Copying a game is not illegal. Copying a game and giving that copy to someone else is illegal. Copying a game and giving the original to someone else while keeping the original is illegal. Copying a game and lending the copy or original to a friend is illegal. Copying the game so you can have a backup disc in case you scratch the crap out of the original is NOT illegal.

Nicely said Jman. So go and try out that CloneCD NewCompGeek and maybe you'll have better luck.
