why can't companies list their own job openings on monster

When I do a job search, all I see are teksystems, robert half, kforce. This is getting annoying because I want to know which company I will be applying for. Why can't companies just list their own openings?!
 
Most if not all fortune 100 companies use a 'new hire' company to evaluate, hire, and train their new staff.

I know microsoft, yahoo, and intuit use this particular method. I suppose it makes it easier for them to evaluate and fire/hire him/her.

The consulting companies do the weeding out for them and just present the few that they think are the best to the actual company. Saves the company a ton of time to weed through unqualified people who just apply for jobs all over the place.
 
Companies outsource a lot of things because it saves them money. Why bother having to hire someone or a department to do what amounts to an "occasional" need when they can simply outsource it to a company that specializes in that.

That sounds expensive... maybe they're on careerbuilder which offers a feature where employers can custom-build their own screeners.

That's not going to stop unqualified people from applying, but it helps weed them out.

Or monster doesn't offer the ability to crawl their existing corporate or other job board and import their jobs / get changes to their jobs like CB does.
