Why can't Adaptec (Roxio) just make all updates backward compatible...

I'm tired of trying to figure which Roxio/Adaptec updates I need for my easy cd creator software. Just make the most recent updates update all older versions. They are really pathetic about this.

Easy Cd Creator meets all my copying needs and seems to be the best overall package around. That's why I use it. Plus it comes for free with a lot of burners.

Adaptec isn't that bad..i use it...
well i was trying to use nero but i have an adaptec scsi controller and plextor scsi burner...doesn't allow me to use nero...does anyone know how to get other progs to work?

I was at Roxio's site the other night looking for the latest uprdate to Easy CD Creator 4 Deluxe...yes I actually bought it even though I don't use it, but my folks do...and I got so confused as to what upgrade I actually need that I left with nothing. This really IS SUCK!! I do not want to have to install the damn software on MY machine to figure out which damn version I have.
